U want to swim...relax and have a nice assado BBQ ...visit this place...I love the graffiti on the walls...it is a sin attraction area...women from all over the word and sweet like dolce del leche...the water is amazing to surf and swim....sometimes there is rain but depends when you visit..

Frankly, I've been to much better beaches in South America (and to even more remarkable ones around the world). Punta Del Diablo lacks the party atmosphere of Copacabana and the beauty of Central American beaches. What it has instead are ridiculous crowds and overpriced accommodations and food.If you're looking for a side trip while visiting Montevideo, try some of the quieter and smaller beaches along the beach stretch instead. Save that partying for Copacabana in Brazil.

Pescaderia de Punta del Diablo is an excellent place to buy fresh - VERY FRESH - fish if you choose to cook for yourself while visiting this lovely little tourist town... A family-owned & -operated business, their cleanliness & friendliness will impress you! I bought the LAST of the flounder they had available, but as I was leaving (with my bags full of HUGE bay scallops & a kilo of shrimp, plus the flounder), I saw 3 of the biggest flounder I've ever seen in my life - hanging from the back of the motor scooter that had just pulled into the driveway, along with a few more fish... Wow! They had to be at least a foot wide & 2-1/2 feet long! Giant flounder...Visit them & ask for: 1) lenguado (flounder); 2) vieras (bay scallops); 3) camarones (shrimp) - they have with the heads & shells on "completo" or "entero", with heads off, shells on "sin cabeza," and just the meats "pulpo." They have a wide range of other fish as well, including octopus "pulpo." Very well worth the trip! Speak some Spanish, as they do not speak English... We shop there regularly & have NEVER had a bad fish... HINT: If you see a sign "Cerrado/Closed" on the door, knock anyway, because they live out back & if you're here in winter (off-season) they are always open, but the sign always says "Cerrado."

Es aconsejable comprar el pescado cuando regresan los barcos de pescar. Los mariscos se pueden conseguir congelados. Recomiendo comprar un pescado entero y hacerlo a la parrilla con leña

compre rodajas de tiburón martillo fresco, exquisito a la plancha! tienen pescado fresco y otros traídos de otros lados congelados, hay que ver que se compra si se quiere algo del lugar.

Me sinto na obrigação de avisar a todos frequentava a praia mais de 4 anos, sempre ouvia falar de furtos em cabanas, ficamos do dia 02/02/15 ate 10/02/15, tivemos muita sorte de não sermos furtados, mas meu amigo não chegou num dia e no outro quando estava na praia, limparam a sua cabana, dinheiro ,eletronico , ATENÇÃO, caso não tenha opção , tenha que ir, vai a dica, leve o dinheiro consigo ou deixe no veículo, nunca diga a ninguem na praia onde esta sua cabana, quando chegar la pergunte sobre furtos em cabanas, veras que no minimo mais de 40 já foram saqueadas, e o incrivel, ninguem nunca foi pego, SÃO LADRÕES PROFISSIONAIS, não confie em ninguem e boa sorte. A praia é espetacular

Está a la orilla de la playa, se puede tener una vista privilegiada, la gente es muy carismática, y se puede beber en la vía pública (birras - Cervezas)
