我喜欢到丹顿农山脉(Dandenong Ranges)旅行。山脉非常漂亮,开车旅行很赞喔。有很多地儿可以去,很享受这样宁静的感觉。

冬天很棒的旅行经验。我有机会去高海拔国家旅游,那里有我的朋友,朋友养了几匹马。司机带我们穿过有着高大树木的村子。在高海拔国家,旅行的最好时候是冬天。周围全部都是雾,阳光透过雾照在身上,还有点暖和。

在丹顿农区里面,最适合徒步的一段路就是从贝尔格雷火车站到Sherbrooke森林,在那里你可以看到很多鸟和红色的鹦鹉。那里有许多不同颜色的鸟。身体不方便的人可能不适合来这里徒步。

我觉得这个地方很适合一家人去玩,徒步穿越农区很好玩,我建议你们都去这里玩。

Visited the National Rhodedendrum Gardens, they were not in bloom but still plenty to see, a lovely garden to walk around. We came out and had an excellent lunch at the Olinda cafe.

My children loved the train ride to the top and back. We drove to the Dandenong train station from the city centre and it was quite easy to find. The afternoon can best be described as a "lazy one." The children had a lot of fun.

If you're going to head out this way. Take a car. It's not easy to get there without it. Although the belgrave line takes you out there, it's better to take a car, because then you can meander through the hills, stop off at a winery (there are loads), and find somewhere nice to stay. Lovely outlooks, and on a clear day you may even be able to see out to the sea.

Lovely little places to stop and look around, shops,restarants. Beautiful sceneryRoads twisty, but worth the travel.

I really liked the Dandenong Ranges, I just wish there was better transport around them. I've been hiking there a couple of times now and have both times set off from Belgrave. Good for keen hikers, but perhaps difficult for people like me going by train.
