Our first time in a "Nordique" spa setting! We didn't quite know what to expect but we will likely go back. We took the couples massage and took advantage of the sauna and spas. What an experience in winter! We were not brave enough to take a dip in the river though! Maybe next time... All in all, it was a nice experience. The massage was reallllly good! The only thing I would mention is that if you are not familiar with the "nordique" experience, they are not forthcoming with details on how to proceed. So if it's your first time, ask for details/instructions.

In order to prevent those errors, we added a mandadory step in our purchasing process where you have to confirm that you agree with our refund policy. This policy contains only 3 lines in French and English and clearly stipulates that we are located at 5 hours drive from Ottawa. It is impossible to make any purchase without agreeing to this paragraph. It is unfortunate that you decided to make the purchase without reading it but as you indicated, your money is not lost and will never be. You, or somebody else can utilise the gift certificate at any time since there is not expiry date.

Having gone to lovely spas in Montreal and the Laurentians, I had high expectations of Le Nordique, but was rather disappointed. Like Ikea, the spa was big, busy and loud, but at least at Ikea the use of carts is complimentary; Le Nordique (unlike other spas) requires you to rent bathrobes ($12), and buy flip flops ($11), making the cost of a day in the baths higher than many higher-end spas (but without the amenities of complimentary beauty products, salon quality flatirons, nice teas etc.). While you are allowed to bring your own robe (as many people did), it feels odd to be surrounded by strangers wearing the natty bathrobes they would normally only wear in the privacy of their own bedrooms. And I'm pretty sure the eucalyptus sauna was trying to kill us: it was so hot, and so steamy, and so eucalyptus-y, I was reminded when I was a small child and my brother covered my head with Vicks VapoRub and I had to go on antibiotics because I was in danger of contracting chemically induced pneumonia. While this spa will do in a pinch, only go if you don't have time to find a better one elsewhere.

We are sorry that you were disapointed after your visit to our spa.Considering that we have our own restaurant, we feel that it is innapropriate for our customers to bring their own lunch as any other restaurant would do.With regards to our crowded hot tub, since our largest one has a capacity of 30 people and our combined facilities have a capacity of over 60 people, we don't undestand why you felt that our hot tub was so crowded, considering that only 15 customers were on the site on that day. Maybe our definition of a crowded hot tub is simply different.Finally, for environmental considerations, we have established a green commitment based on principles like "users pay for what they get". We have been able to reduce our normal rates but we ask our customers to pay an extra if they want more services like food, beverages, towels or robes. We are sorry that this philosophy does not match yours. We will consider your comments for future developments.

The Nordique was the highlight of the trip for my boyfriend and I. We planned to have our massages at noon, but arrived at 10am to enjoy the hot tub, steam baths, saunas and all the "extras" le Nordique had to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The other clients at the spa seemed to be quite enjoying their experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this spa. We found the massage to be extremely relaxing and we really enjoyed the drive up the mountain and the lush scenery they have surrounded themselves with. I would recommend to bring a house-coat. We took the ones from our Hotel, and found comfort with them, due to the chilly weather we had during our stay. It was a pleasure meeting the staff and getting to experience such a fantastic group of people. The price is greeat too!!

Visite très agreable, beau complexe, services de qualité, bon temps assuré. Par contre les services sont limités, et le complexe est petit, l'intimité est très limitée. Les zones de silence sont agréable. En basse saison difficile d'avoir le service de massothérapie, des maisons sont fermées donc plus de monde dans la même bâtisse, MAIS, le spa compense ses désagrément de basse saison par un prix moins élevé. À voir, relaxation assurée !

Sur la berge de la rivète Jacques Cartier. Un site vraiment enchanteur.Très beaux bains, saunas et salles de repos offrant une vue sur la rivière.

Le service à la clientèle est une priorité pour notre organisation et nous prennons très au sérieux votre commentaire concernant l'accueil que vous avez reçu. L'employé en question a même déjà été rencontré à cet effet.Concernant la consommation d'alcool sur notre site, comme vous avez constaté, nous sommes à flanc de montagne ce qui donne une perspective des plus spectaculaire mais également demande une attention particulière de nos clients pour le pas chuter dans nos nombreux escaliers. Afin de réduire les risques de chute, nous avons décidé de ne pas offrir de boissons alcoolisées. Notre petite soeur, Le Nordique spa Mont Ste-Anne possède de son côté un permis de boisson mais le site est sur un seul étage et les risques de chutes sont moins élevés.Pour terminer, nous sommes un spa éco-responsable et avons mis en place plusieurs initiatives afin de réduire notre empreinte écologique. Une de nos nombreuses actions a été d'endosser le principe d’utilisateur-payeur. À cet effet, il nous fera plaisir de vous remettre une 2e serviette, de vous louer une robe de chambre ou de vous donner une 2e bouteille d’eau moyennant certains frais. Ceci laisse la possibilité à ceux qui le désire d'en apporter de la maison et aux autres d'en louer autant qu'ils en veulent.Encore une fois, je vous remercie d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire part de vos commentaires afin de nous aider dans notre processus d'amélioration continue.
