Went as a group during a day hike but also for the foresta lumina, absolutely loved both. The day hike is low-medium in terms of intensity. The path for the foresta lumina a night seemed of lower intensity. It's basically laterns and light decorations throughtout the forest with a story. Sound effects are also part of the show. The tickets for the daytime and night time are seperate. There is a presale for the night time but only a limited amount of tickets available. We weren't able to get the pre-sale tickets, therefore we had to wait quite some time (~2h30) at night tomget tickets.Make sure to bring a sweater, although it is very hot during daytime, it gets chilly at night.Pack some snacks and sandwiches. I didn't see many restaurants around.Parking is available at no cost.

Unusually for early January, snow cover in the Eastern Townships was minimal and in lieu of snowshoeing or XC-skiing we chose do some snow walks using micro-spikes. From our base in Magog we really enjoyed our treks in Park Mont Orford and Mont Megantic, Coaticook however was a much easier and less thrilling experience. Basically we walked the summer hiking and mountain bike trails. Views were OK but nothing special. We often ended up on the wrong trail due to lack of signage. The variety of mountain bike trails is notable and is probably worth returning for.

What a great place to bring the family! We stayed at the campsite for 1 night and wished so much we could stay longer. Will will go back next summer and plan more time. Campsites clean, trails fun and just an overall peaceful place. I want so badly to give 5 stars but I had to dock them one because they do not speak English well so if you are not bilingual, you'll really struggle. Luckily I had family that speak French. Guess in my mind, if you want to bring in tourist $$, then you would have English speaking employees since it is 20 minutes out of VT.Light show was out of this world. My girls thought they were in a fairytale land. The boys loved it too. So amazing and worth the visit! They would sell out and keep the gates open hours after to ensure that everyone went through. That goes above and beyond in my mind!

We heard Coaticook was a victim of their success with a sold out situation for most of the summer. We visited the magical forest in October with our 3 nephews and we all loved it. This is beyond a light & sound show. The special effects are amazing.Since we stayed at one of the "refuge" in the park, we were within walking distance of Foresta Lumina. Had fun making our way with our head lamps on.The next day, we walked the park - the fall colours and the view were beautiful. And of course... we had to have a taste of the great Coaticook icecream. Delicious.

It's such a beautiful place to walk. You're in a forest, you get to walk the highest suspended bridge in Canada. It's an amazing walk in nature, near waterfalls and trees. There two observation towers and a campaign ground not to far. At the end of the summer until October they light up the trees during night time. The best thing to do after walking is grabbing an ice cream at the Coaticook factory. Delicious ice cream! Enjoy!

The park features a trail that goes through a long, high bridge and a gazebo where it is possible to appreciate the forest of the region. The scenery is very beautiful and as we were in full autumn color.

We are from RI and this was my first trip to Canada. The area has an amazing suspension bridge which can seem scary at first because it does move a lot when people are walking on it but provides an amazing view! Admission price is reasonable, was somewhere around $15 for 2. There is also an area at the bottom of the gorge with many rock statues where visitors create their own stacks of rocks as a sort of balancing act. There is also an option at night to visit but we did not do that so I can't offer too much insight into that.

This is a beautiful park. You walk above a canyon on a suspended bridge. You get to climb a tall tower where the view of the surrounding mountains and hills is fabulous. There is even an old hydro plant on the trail. Fun for all ages as long as you are very mobile on your feet.

Stayed on Sept 4th 2014 overnight. This place is definitely for the outdoor amateurs. Walking, trekking, biking and along these routes information on the history of this beautiful Place & Town. The Gorge is fascinating and the bridges and trails are safe & well maintain yet respecting nature. Highly recommend as a place to stop before going into the USA or coming back from the USA. This place will energize you. We also camped overnight, wanted to stay longer but we didn't reserve & they were completely booked for the RV's sites.

Very nice loop trail. Has a good amount of elevation changes, so be prepared! Focal point is one of the longest (or is it the longest?) pedestrian suspension bridge in the world.
