What a beautiful town to visit! Driving from Vancouver on my way to visit friends & to drive around the Rocky Mountains I had heard about a pretty town to have a break at. You won't be disappointed stopping here for a bite to eat, a stroll around town & to river, art gallery, cafe's, park. Loved the carvings that had been made by a chain saw. Easy town to walk around, you discover there is more art than the carvings. There are also some great painted artwork on buildings. Stop, relax & enjoy! 2-3 hours is nice to stroll & then have a bite to eat. Stay longer for the other attractions in this location.

This is always a good walk around the Hope townsite..Well worth grabbing a bottle of water,some trail mix and go for a walk,rain or shine..You won't be disappointed.

Whether you walk or drive around town, allow a bit of extra time to see all the carvings. Unfortunately, we did not have a lot of extra time, but still managed to see quite a few of them.Some are very intricately carved, whilst others are more simple, but they are all charming. I couldn't decide which was my favourite!

I have lost count of just how many brilliant Chain Saw Carvings there are to see in and around Beautiful Hope, BC. Our guests love that they can walk out of our front door and start this amazing tour. From animals found in the area, to whimsical figures there is something for everyone! Walk around the small town of Hope spotting approximately 70 intricately carved pieces of timber and artwork. Be prepared to be amazed as each is a masterpiece.
