Went on a tour as part of the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival (fvbef.ca)This event is held the 3rd week-end every November.Had a 1.5hr boat tour of the Harrison River. Saw over 400 Eagles!Toured the nearby Kilby Historic Site and had an amazing lunch.Truly a breathtaking natural spectacle occurs every year in this area of British Columbia. The Kilby Historic Site is an added bonus.Check out The Hancock Wildlife Foundation (www.hancockwildlife.org) for more information about the Bald Eagle Festival

We stopped into Kilby for a look-about on a recent (late-September) trip to Harrison. It was still rather early in the morning (before 11am), and a Tuesday, so we did not expect anything to be open (as was indicated on their website). We have been into Kilby quite often over recent years, and have visited the various attractions -- general store museum, heritage farm, gift shop, and etc. This stop was just an opportunity for us to stretch our legs a little, and absorb some of the sights and warm "feelings" that one always gets in this lovely spot. The Park and campground area always offers some great views of Harrison Bay, and on the day we were there, it bright, warm and inviting -- the sky clear and blue, the beach sand warm, but the water as usual, "ouch", that's cold!! Sure a pretty setting though!!With a couple of pictures taken at the Park, and at/near the store and farm, we left Kilby with more warm feelings that we had once again visited a favourite spot of ours, and added some more fond memories to the collection.

Visitors to the Harrison Mills are MUST stop at the Kilby Historic site & step into the past. This museum is filled with authentic artefacts, some rare, that tell stories of the early days in this rural area. Walk the grounds, see the farm animals, browse the gift shop & have a piece of home made pie in the cafe. Such a worthwhile stop!

Have stopped here in several years ago and find this excellent small historic site to get out and explore and learn about how people lived in this area of BC in the past 100 years.

Kilby is a favorite of mine. The restaurant is comfortable and cozy, the food would be considered as 'home cooking' at its finest. The gift shop is small but, filled with handmade crafts, books, and goodies. The museum is filled with wonderful memorabilia, and the staff are fantastic. For a family outing, check Kilby out.

Interesting historic site, off the beaten track. We went for the Easter egg hunt, come early as it does get crowded. Not many animals to see or pat. Enjoyed the historic talk about the Kilby general store. Staff were friendly and easy going. This place is small, don't expect too much.

Went for the bald eagle festival and got a walking tour of the Kilby area. Our tour guide Jo Ann was great and very informative. Learned about the history of Kilby, Eagles and Seagulls. Worthwhile for all to go and see.

We have visited many times with guests from around the world. This trip we shared with two teenagers from Japan! They enjoyed their visit immensely. The farm animals and gift shop were their highlights.

I just returned from a scenic drive from Vancouver to Kelowna, along HWY 7 and a neighbour had recommended that I stop and see the historical farm/mill at Kilby. It was well worth the time! I couldn't get over the friendly animals! The scenery was glorious and I was impressed with the detail to the preservation of the site. It was quite fun to look through all of the antique products in the General Store. The admission fee was 9.00 CDN, but worth it! We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in the restaurant (FRESH Egg Salad Sandwiches and Lentil Soup) and took our time perusing the gift shop. The staff was very friendly and the restroom facilities were clean and well maintained. It was a pleasure to stop by and I look forward to taking other friends there next summer!

This is a great little gem of a place. I loved the museum and the farm and all the farm animals. A real great place to bring the kids.
