My parents, husband, and i visited Celista Estate Winery on Father's Day 2014. We were staying in Scotch Creek for the weekend, about 15-20 min away. My parents are from Vancouver and spend lots of time on Napa and my husband and I live in Ontario and have spent lots of time touring and tasting our way through French/Italian vineyards as well as those in Niagara. Celista was an absolute delight! It was quaint and removed from the road - we drove in past beautiful vines, meadows for flowers and horses! Upon parking we were greeted by a friendly dog, and signage pointed us to a cute little path towards the tasting room. We had a complimentary tasting of 6 wines - Ortega, Cuvee, Rose, Oak Barrel Foch, Inspired Madness, and Gewurztraminer. The wines were all light, fresh, and flavourful. We each picked our favourite and bought a glass to enjoy outside in the sunshine on their beautiful patio overlooking the lake, surrounded by peonies! A lovely day, and each member of the staff we met provided amazing customer service!
