A beautiful old cathedral, built in 1824, located on the StFX campus. Its a treat to visit during one of the mass services in the lofty nave. I always loved hearing the bells toll on Sunday mornings.

It has been 10 years since my last visit to the Cathedral and I was so disappointed to see the current condition. There was paint peeling and water damage in many places. Still a beautiful place but in need of some repair!

For little old Antigonish, this is a big old Cathedral which you really do underestimate until you walk inside.

Located near the center of Antigonish it is very easy to find right on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University. A Beautiful structure filled with pleasant local parishioners. We thoroughly enjoyed mass and were warmly welcomed by the new Parish Priest celebrating his first mass at the Cathedral. It was great to see so many young people in attendance on a Sunday morning. I think it was the first week back for the students. Inspirational
