Like you say, we offer the visitors an opportunity to step back in time and experience the daily life of the Acadians in the early 1900's. We are all Acadians here and we pride ourselves in demonstrating our culture and language.

I want to thank you for the positive review of our site. Our interpreters are bilingual, but take pride in showing off their Acadian French dialect which is unique to this area.

Thank you for your comments regarding your visit at our site. Our interpreters are all of Acadian descent and have a lot of pride in their culture and really want to share this with the visitors. There is a tragic period in our history, but the Village shows how they overcame this tragedy and how the culture is still alive and well, even to this day.

Thank you for your comments regarding your visit and also the suggestion for more signage. We are aware of the importance of signage and have already begun the process of determining where to place additional signs and have actually placed an order for 2 signs and will be getting more when we determine the size and location.

I would like to thank you for your review of our site. Other visitors have said the same thing regarding the relaxed atmosphere and we certainly do our best to make you feel at home.Our café is not a full service restaurant, but it is open on weekdays(Monday - Friday) from 11:30AM to 3:00PM and it is a lunch counter type facility. We focus on serving soups, rappie pie, sandwiches and desserts, all made fresh daily, mostly using traditional Acadian recipes.
