A great local attraction . This authentically restored carousel and its nominal 5 cent a ride fare remains as it did over 50 years ago. Located in historic Pt. Dalhousie this is well worth a visit for families with children while touring in Niagara. Parents are welcome to assist their children while on the ride, and there are sleighs for those wishing to sit while enjoying the ride.

What a gorgeous carousel! It is truly beautiful. The animals are all different and beautifully done. And at a nickle a ride, you can ride them all if you want! :)The ride is beautifully maintained and in wonderful shape. The building doesn't offer much of a view, but it provides shelter so you can ride the carousel any time, whatever the weather. This attraction truly adds to the community and is a local treasure!

This is a very nostalgic place. My husband grew up in Port Dalhousie and this brings back fond memories. It is only still 5 cents a ride. Was there last summer with my son, daughter in law and two grandsons.

We often take our grandchildren to the legendary Carosel as it is unique with the hand painted animals, old music and affordable cost (5 cents a ride!!). The love it, and so do we!

It's five cents a ride, a piece of history and located steps away from a great beach. A fun spot to bring kids or a significant other. Follow it up with a walk along the pier.

Great place to visit with little kids. At 5 cents a ride, it is almost free. The horses are well taken care of, freshly painted every winter. After a ride, walk the pier or play at the beach or playground.

For 5 cents a ride, you can't beat a fun ride on an outdoor carousel. Complete with the old school music it is enjoyed by every age group. With the park right beside it, an open field for kicking the ball around or some frisbee and a clear view of the lake with a long pier for a nice walk, it is a nice place to spend a few hours. I wouldn't put a toe in the lake for swimming due to posted warnings from time to time (which screams, keep out regardless of a posted warning or not), but there is a beach with volleyball nets and a little shop that serves ice cream.

I remember the old carousel and this reproduction is excellent. I've taken my grandchildren there a few times and they love it. The beach and the park are well taken care of, so its a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. Take a stroll on the pier or enjoy one of the restaurants on Main St. in old Port Dalhousie.
