A wonderful experience. Being part of the audience while a play is read for the first time by actors sitting on stage with the author.

We went to see a play called Stag and Doe. It was very well done. Excellent value for money. Theatre is small (under 200 seats so there is no bad seat to choose.

We went to three plays this year and enjoyed each of them and especially the Sept one called "Stag and Doe" which I highly recommend. This is not heavy professional theatre but good acting and just plain fun. Go and give it a try at very reasonable prices too.

Only a short and picturesque 45-minute drive south from London, Ontario is the quaint town of Port Stanley. We saw the hilarious one-man (and might add one-woman) show "The Fixer Upper" in a theatre with modern lighting and staging and comfortable seats. Super talented actors. Box office rep was friendly. Surely a local crowd. A nice store nearby to browse for gifts and souvenirs. We will make an effort next time to visit a show again if in this area. Also, ice cream stores make the trip back ideal.

Whenever we visit Pt. Stanley, we try to visit the Festival Theatre. It is a very small theatre (only 140 seats!) but so friendly and comfortable! There is not a bad seat in the house! We saw Norm Foster's play "The Melville Boys" and it did not disappoint. The actors did a beautiful job of putting the show together and the set was awesome! Just a great way to spend a summer's evening in the village. We loved it!!

Took in a matinee of "The Fixer Upper" and we enjoyed the production. This is a great little theatre - not hard to tell that it has a dedicated local arts community supporting it. We sat in a full house, the set design was ingenious and the actor(s) were fantastic! I'd drive all the way to Port Stanley to see another play, because they're doing things right there! Two thumbs up...

Situated upstairs from a branch of the Elgin County Library, this is one of Elgin County's cultural treasures. We've attend plays here for several years (generally we avoid the musicals although Bingo Ladies was a delightful exception). This is very high quality theatre in a most intimate environment (fewer than 150 seats). Norm Foster plays are regulars here and the defining quality of the Port Stanley theatre is that Plays are invariably comedies and, I believe, with some exceptions, almost always Canadian (there have been a few British "Caught in the Net"/ "Run For Your Wife"). Well directed and exceptionally well staged considering how small the performance area is. Lovely group of volunteers are on hand to keep things rolling. Southern Ontario's little gem of a theatre.

This little theatre does summer well. A truly comfortable seat in a friendly, welcoming village. The playbill ranges to cover all likes and they are all done well. Great talent & superb acting. The seats are all good, as it is an intimate theatre. We try to get here a few times over the summer and look forward to an enjoyable evening every time. The womens washroom needed some work the night we were last there, so that was a disappointment, but I'm sure they have resolved this by now. Keep up the great work PST!

Intimate little theatre with not a bad seat in the house!! Comfy seating, friendly, helpful box office and some of the best light entertainment (usually comedies or musicals) in Southern Ontario.If you visit Port you must try and get tkts for whatever is playing (Season mid May till Sept.) Some one-night winter entertainment - folk singers and impressionistsYou won't be sorry!

A beautiful theater, the play was hilarious. It is a small theater so the seating is all good. We enjoyed it so much this was our second visit. Superb acting.You should keep an eye out for the dates, its a must see!!!
