Almost 5 years ago I was a child actor in wizard of Oz and it was truly a magnificent experiance gaining skills that would last a lifetime. A few months ago I had the pleasure of seeing Peter Pan and what an event it was! Truly marvellous and well worth the money! The history behind the wharf is also quite wonderful as it ties to the naval establishment behind it, another marvellous place. However, those seats do need to have a second look as a longer show would have become a very uncomfortable experiance. All in all it was fantastic

The Kings wharf theatre is wonderful. The plays are professional. We love it.One complaint, the seats need new padding, they are worn out. Several people have to take a cushion with them.

Went to see Twist and Shout - The British Invasion show. This was an amazing show with very talented people and was easily as good as any show we have seen in the large theatres inToronto. If you get a chance to go see this show- Go as you won't regret it. The theatre was great and all seats are good. Plan to return next year.

This is an older theatre but the sound and sight is excellent wherever you sit. The setting is on Georgian Bay with a gorgeous view to the water and the boats. The Theatre even has a shuttle service from the parking lot. The play on August 30th was "Twist & Shout - The British Invasion"and it was wonderful.

Just saw the Drayton Theatre production of Twist and Shout at King's Wharf....outstanding! This is the second year that we have attended musical productions here and all have been extremely well done. A relatively small theatre, King's Wharf doesn't have a bad seat. The ushers and ticket takers are well trained and pleasant. We are looking forward to the 2015 season. By the way the walk into the theatre has spectacular views as it is set alongside the water!

On September 7th 1964 I attended the concert in Toronto at MLG. I was working and assigned the front of the stage. Very loud place to be and very hot. The originals were great but on August 30th 2014 at Kings Wharf it was wonderful. A birthday gift from a special lady and we had a great day. Kudos to everyone involved in this show.

Great job on the show. The crowd really got into it. Bring pillows to sit on. Washrooms are clean and tidy. The view is beautiful.

While camping at Awenda Prov Park, we bought tickets in advance to see Twist and Shout--British Invasion. Our two families with four kids (ages 9-14) were not disappointed with the production. The performers and band were fabulous creating a wonderful performance for all that attended. The theatre is a country type building with all seats having a good view of the stage. The lobby offers a beverage bar and snacks with some nice outdoor seating showcasing a scenic view of the water. The theatre is part of Drayon Entertainment that features several other similar locations with a rotation of quality shows. Give it a go. You will not be let down.

Had a great time! 60s music! Everyone was singing & enjoyed it! Been a couple of times to this theatre and have not been disappointed. Great way to spend an afternoon or evening! Smaller, so sells out quickly.

Recently I attended the performance of Twist and Shout by Drayton Entertainment performed at the King's Wharf Theatre. I enjoy good theatre and like to go to Shaw, Stratford and Mirvisch productions in Toronto. Going to the show here was a spur of the moment decision. My last minute seats had me sitting off to the left and up near the rafters, but in this smaller theatre these were really quite good seats. I had no issues with the site lines or hearing the performers. The seats were comfortable and not cramped (OK if you're Shaquille O'Neil you will be stuffed into a sardine can). The play was performed with great professionalism. It is not Broadway, but neither are the prices so a very entertaining afternoon was had.If you are in the area on vacation it is well worth the time and money spent. Also take in the ships at Discovery Harbour while there. It provides a great historical perspective on life in the early 1800's.
