I know this is somewhat unorthodox, seeing as we have never stayed at this location, however I feel compelled to share my terrible experience with the staff at Hastings Resort. We called many times early in the day for more activity information, however, no one answered . We were able to leave a message but surprisingly no one called back. After reviewing the website further, we called once more later in the afternoon and a young man answered the phone; He was not helpful or friendly. We asked about a deal where you can stay for 2 nights for $99 to ensure it would be valid if we made the purchase. He said that it only works for the regular rooms and that there were no available regular rooms; only one jacuzzi room. I asked if we could upgrade, he said we could upgrade for $30 per night. The issue is that one of the two nights only has regular rooms available, so we would not be able to stay both nights and therefore not receive the deal! He was unwilling to give us a regular room for one day and then upgrade to a jacuzzi room the next day! Even after he was very rudely unaccommodating we still decided to book the jacuzzi room for one night and not do the deal as it would not be worth it for us. We called the same evening about 6 times to make reservations only to have someone very obviously pick up the phone and hang up on us each time! Not only extremely unprofessional, but gives the impression that they do not need the business. I suspect that the owner's son does a lot of the work as one of the times wherein someone picked up for a few seconds, we heard young people laughing and discussing videogames, before hanging up on us once more.Needless to say we will NEVER be staying at this place or recommending it to anyone!!!Very unimpressed
