We took awesome pictures around the Husky the Muskie of our parents anniversary. It was a nice sunny day and the grounds were in full bloom and green. A good back drop for pictures. Although I was born and raised in Kenora I never caught a Muskie

Arriving in Kenora on the waterfront one is greeted by the grand ole Husky the Muskie. There is a splendid viewing area of the lake and immaculate gardens maintained by the City of Kenora. It's a great rest stop with a bagged lunch or take out from the array of fast food restaurants in town. Enjoy a great view of the lake and the fountain that erupts on the hour.

Unbelievable 40 foot fish mascot you see when entering the city of Kenora from the West on Hwy 17. Very impressive sculpture and it looks majestic in McLeod Park right on the waterfront. Awesome looking Muskie makes a great family picture. The park that surrounds it is beautiful with wonderful natural gardens, trees, an old tug boat, restroom and free parking. Located right on the shores of Lake of the Woods. A must stop in Kenora.

This is a great spot to stop on your way into Kenora (from the west). Kids love it and everyone loves to get a selfie with the muskie! It gives you a great view of Kenora across the bay.

Situated in McLeod park, near the fountain at the edge of the lake. It's long been an icon of Kenora. It makes for part of a nice stroll along the water, and a good backdrop for some pictures.

Another place where stop to loosen legs after a few hours of road. Besides the sculpture, the panorama is interesting to look.
