Took in the first night of The 39 Steps at the Roxy. This theatre is obviously a community labour of love and a wonderful resource in a small community. The lobby has a nice space with artwork on display and a bar with plenty of seating. The theatre has reasonably comfortable seats and good sight lines though the sloping of the floor is not very steep so you might have trouble seeing the stage if stuck behind a tall person. The theatre company is quite accomplished and obviously enjoys the craft and the crowd is very appreciative, which makes for a very enjoyable overall experience. Check it out if you are in the area as they also have concerts at the Roxy throughout the season.
