Everything is basically closed off and very hard to see. it is fenced off and the tree are all huge and in the way of the falls.

Never found a waterfall so easy to get to . 3 minutes walk from the highway (grey 13) center of Eugenia . Park your car in the park and go view this site, it will surprise you. IF you want to hike, go for it...easy easy just to enjoy the forest and waterfall

A hidden spot that everyone should see. The only downside is that the tree line along the pathway is blocking the view and makes it hard to get amazing photos. You can still see the falls and gorge but photo taking is a challenge. Uneven surface so be careful walking along the path.

On our way to the falls, we stopped at Epping Lookout to view the beautiful Beaver Valley. We were surprised to discover that the great environmentalist, John Muir, had actually lived for a while in this area when he was quite young. There are a few interesting plaques to read while you're there. We also made a quick stop in the tiny village of Eugenia for sandwiches to take for a picnic. A few minutes of easy walking took us to a stone wall and trail. We didn't go far, just enough to see the falls which are quite tall (30 meters). Our viewpoint was from the top and we couldn't see quite all the way to the bottom, but we were close enough. The trail to the bottom is too steep for me, but it is really beautiful at the top. We had our picnic at a table in the woods. Lovely!

Beautiful waterfall and forest that seems to be unknown to many passing by on the main road. It is deffinatly worth a stop if you are headed north or in the area. The path is at the top of the falls, looking down into a gorge. The waterfall is tall and had just a small amount of water flowing down when we went. The path north leads to an old hydro building which has been vandalized to the max. The southern trail is right beside the cliff and has no gaurd rails so be very careful because its a long way down! Beautiful forest with old twisted trees, and large rocks that form staircases. Cross the waterfall at the top and on the otherside is an old tunnel entrance. Great stop if its just for 20 minutes or you could spend the whole afternoon there. Also check out the emporium in town its a nice old fashion restaurant.

If you are driving through Beaver Valley or in the Flesherton area, Eugenia Falls are worth a look. A short walk from parking to the falls. However, Inglis Falls just south of Owen Sound is a definite must see! If visiting Eugenia Falls, head north and check out Beaver Valley a nice drive and some charming villages to stop in (part of the Apple Trail).

I have been visiting this spot for over 50 years. When I was a teenager I, and a bunch of friends climbed to the bottom of the gorge down an old tree that used to grow on the other side from the viewing area. It's Amazing down there.. There are boulders the size of houses standing on their ends. You really feel small..(you would also probably be arrested if you tried this today!) Back at the top, there is a collapsed entrance to a tunnel that was supposed to go someplace, back when the falls was larger and they were going to generate electricity. The little park also has a veterans memorial to the ww1 & ww2 soldiers from the area. The Eugenia Dam also has a local story about someone missing, and believed embedded in the concrete during construction, but you would have to find a very old local to tell you the story!

What a beautiful spot, serenity at its best. Easily one of my favorite spots in Ontario. Make sure you visit if you are in the area.

Great little day trip, we go about once a year in the spring/summer. The falls are gorgeous, and there are some smooth rocks that make the ideal spot for a picnic. There's a walking trail, and some old stone structures. It's always really quiet, I don't think we've ever seen more than 3 or 4 groups while we were there, and that's a busy day. Across the main road and down a side street or two is a great little lake, so we usually end our day with a swim.Looking forward to going back next year.
