This course has had it share of difficulties, but is still the best deal in the area. This year has been a challenge due to the water conduits on the course, but it is in the process of being fixed. Good on the crew. The sand traps are abysmal, not consistent, poor sand, no sand. This is pretty much because of the wind of the lakes. My theory is quick complaining, its a links course stay out of the sand. The folks on site are generally pleasant. It's tough sometimes. The restaurant is definitely improved this year. It has a limited menu, but one that offers something for everybody. The food is coming out very well this year, well presented, cooked properly and in a timely manner.I like the Pro and the Pro shop staff. My only complaint is that they don't carry brands with sizesthat actually fit the "bonus-sized' golfer; and it appears there is no real attempt to try--as there is quite a few of us, it is makes poor business sense.
