What a great natural setting. You would think you were way up north..but you are just up hwy 50 north of Bolton.Wonderful groomed trails for Cross Country Skiing...or just hiking.

Our last camping outing for the 2014 season. Many of the sites have worn areas with mud so it is necessary to place the trailer in a grassy spot. Nice big fire pits...no rings to keep the fire contained. The showers are horrible... luke warm water, a jet stream of water, small change area with only 2 hooks, plastic curtain (poor privacy), and you have to keep pressing a button to keep the water on....grrrrr and brrrr! The area has lots of biking and hiking trails and a few geocaches. Generally, a good stay.

2nd time using this park for a family picnic. Both times there were events happening which filled up the parking lots. Large picnic areas for large gatherings. Kids could run around all day. One area has a playground close to the marsh. There are picnic shelters. The bathrooms are like big port a pottys.

My favorite place to mountain bike in Ontario; the trails are absolutely stellar. Well marked flowy singletrack - the kind that makes you so happy to be alive :)Although the park can get busy with families and picnics on weekends, once you get past the picnic area and parking lots you are golden! The sounds quickly fade away as you ride into the interior meeting only the occasional biker or hiker. While you're there (if you still have gas in the tank) check out Palgrave forest which is just adjacent to Albion hills; it too, has some stellar singletrack with less double track interruptions and no park fee- but with less trail markers (maps available at parking lots). Duffy's Lane connects Albion Hills (get off mid trail) to Palgrave forest.Albion Hills is the host for the 24 hour MTB race "Summer Solstice" in mid June so avoid if you're not into crowds. They host a variety of other races throughout the summer which may restrict trails so call ahead to avoid disappointment.Entry fee is reasonable with season passes available. Convenience store, washrooms, showers, change rooms, water pumps, and 2 bike wash stations are available.

I have an annual pass for Albion Hills and ski here regularly. The trails are always well groomed and the facilities are well kept. There is lots of parking and trails for different skill levels. The park is called Albion Hills, so be aware there are a number of hills to navigate. Equipment is available to rent and the café serves a decent lunch. It can get busy at times in the parking lot and rental building but with so many trails there is never an issue with crowds once you are skiing.

Love this place for biking trails. Very challenging in some spots but great riding over all. Family picnic area is decent also while there.

It is an amazing place to visit. Canoe and paddle boats are available. Lake is small but very scenic. Trails are excellently marked and groomed. Best of all, it is not ever far from many major urban places. Must visit.

Went to the splash part with my kids. Paid lots of money and it turned out that the splash pad wasn't even working. Also the splash pad is extremely tiny. The pool is good size but was extremely coLd I asked several life guards why but they couldn't answer. One of them said that it was just that day that the pool was so cool and that they called their maintenance guy. My opinion is that they shouldn't make people pay full price when the splash pad is not working and the pool is set to freezing. Also the beach looks like grass has grown over it the water looks terribly green and you can't even swim in it anymore. Over all pretty to look at but it's too expensive.

Albion Hills is a great park with numerous mountain bike trails. There are a few, some being shorter, one of the longer ones being 9km. There are also a number of bike only technical trails. There is a lake where you can go for a swim in the summer, and also cross country skiing rental available in the winter. I would recommend if you are an outdoorsy person or like hiking/mountain biking.
