as a young adult, I still have a lot of fun at this small water park. the price is very reasonable and its a great way to cool off on a hot day

You can't beat this place for a family outing or extended family picnic. Lots of places to iconic, BBQ and have fun with pools, water slides and toys for the kids and places to play spots. They line up to get on but it is not cheap. I can't see driving great distances to get here but they do have camping and trailer sites of you don't mind lots of company. It is a fun place but nothing special in the big picture.

My friend held her son's 5th birthday party at Cedar Park Resort, which is an outdoor waterpark north east of Oshawa.However, it's more than just a waterpark. There are so many activities for the young and the young at heart to participate it. She was able to reserve a picnic table with covered shelter in a great area as we were close to all the activities. There is a huge swimming pool, which is next to the waterslides and aquaplay area. Behind our picnic area was a duck pond (with ducks!). Across the road from all the water activities, for those that didn't want to get wet, there was a mini-putt course and a tennis court. There was also a beach volleyball area and a playground with your typical kids' activities (slides, swings, sandbox, etc).And that was just half of the resort. The other half of the resort provided parking for trailers. There were plenty of washroom facilities, plenty of space for parking and tons of room to bring a mini-trailer to setup for a Hawaiian themed birthday party.If i ever have kids, I'd definitely have their birthday here.

This is an excellent place to spend the day with your kids. Went with 16, 6, 3 and 1 yr olds. All had a great time in the various attractions. Can get very busy! Make sure the adult to kid ratio is adequate.

We took our grandkids (age 6 & 18 months) here for the afternoon. Cost is reasonable, $12/adult & $5/child over 2. They have several large picnic areas with tables, some covered areas which can be reserved for large groups. There is a big playground with lots of interesting apparatus for kids to play on. The water park is also fun for everyone. There is a large swimming pool with a diving board, a smaller wading pool with sprinklers and a small waterslide, then there is a larger water play area with all kinds of slides, water shooters and a giant tipping bucket. They also have a couple taller waterslides and mini putt for an additional cost. It is a great place to take the family and is easy to get to. I live in Oshawa and it took me 15 minutes to get there. We will definitely be going back.

We stayed 2 nights and 3 days. The rates were reasonable and the grounds, sites and facilities are all clean and updated. There is onwe large pool with a high diving board in the deep end and a shallow end for small children. There is a smaller pool with a slide adjoined to a splash pad for small children and also a large splaspad/play structure. There is also three large waterslides in a separate area available for use at additional charge to our camping and park admission of 7$ per person and very worth it. There's ample supervision by multiple life guards at every attraction keeping things safe and moving smoothly. There's food and beverages available, although the choices are limited the prices are good and one should be able to find something to enjoy.The staff went above and beyond picking up and disposing of our garbage bags and delivering wood for our campfires which is also for sale on site. There's pay showers and laundry available as well as a tennis court and mini put. All trailer sites are equipped with hydro, water and septic and have fire pits. We all had a blast!!! Couldn't ask for anything c else! We will dedicatedly c return. :)

This was the first time that we have ever attended this place after hearing about it from a couple friends. We will definitely return again at another date. Pros:Easy to findBring your own foodVery cleanKids have a blastAt no point did any of our children (9,5,4) say they were board. The 2 splash pads with mini slides kept our 5 and 4 year old entertained for the entire day. Our 9 year old was able to go on the big slides (an extra $7.00) and both myself and my husband could stay with our 2 other children plus baby and not have to worry. The price was good for the amount of time we spend there. There is a duck pond where you can feed the ducks as well as a dry park where we spent after we were done in the water. For our picnic it was awesome because you pull up and there are picnic tables to have lunch on and you don't have to cart your cooler everywhere. Bathrooms were also pretty clean.Cons:The water was a tad chilly but the kids didn't mind.We will definitely be returning again it was worth it and we all enjoyed our day.

Nice place but the water is very cold, they don't warm up the water, my daughter and me where shivering for a while , though it's a nice place to spend time, besides it's expensive to pay around $50 for a family of 5.

With a lack of community outdoor pools Cedar park definitely fills the void. The property is well laid out with picnic areas,well equipped Playground, splash pad, aqua play area, large water slides (extra) and a very large swimming pool. The area is kept clean and well staffed by lifeguards and park personnel. A snack bar, clean washrooms and change areas compete a very good facility. You can bring your own picnic lunch with tables provided. Good value for a days outing.
