This beach is at Caneel Bay. Its an easy walk of 10-15 minutes or so. You can rent a chair for $5, and they have a small drink/snack stand, with a bathroom. The beach is very, very nice, with sea grape trees you can sit under to avoid getting fried. It does cost $20 to park at Caneel Bay (if you don't take a taxi) but if you eat lunch there (and I highly recommend the sushi) they comp the parking.

We took the long walk from Caneel out to Honeymoon Beach just in time for the rain to start which it did off and on the whole time we were there. They have some amenities here such as a place that serves food and drinks, restrooms and rentals for kayaks, etc. People watching was certainly interesting as there was a group of young men that rented a large floating ring that was probably made for a few people in which they had about 7. While hanging out on the beach we were joined by a couple of chickens. I have seen plenty of them roaming around the island but this was the only beach in which they were right there pecking around under your beach chair. I think this beach may be more for a younger crowd.

This is a public beach adjacent to Caneel Resort. Access can be made by paying a $20 parking fee to the resort and walking down a marked trail or by dinghy from the anchorage the beach faces. Water toys are rented at this location and there is a snack stand on site.

Quiet, out of the way, beautiful white sand, clear aqua waters, and decent snorkeling ( we brought our own); what else could one ask for!

We enjoyed a day at honeymoon beach on water island. We ate lunch at Heidi's and got good drinks from dinhgy's. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the band Barefoot Davis was playing. The beach was packed early in the afternoon, but around 3, it cleared out and was very nice. They have a huge mosquito problem, so be sure to bring insect repellent!

A very nice spot to spend a couple of hours relaxin gon the beach. Access is limited and there isn't much as far a amenities. The little food shack on the beach was great, and the beers were cold. The beach can easily get crowded.

This used to be a nice beach, we went yesterday and counted 8 tour boats dropping off passengers for an hour or two. As one boat left, another arrived....they just kept coming. The beach was overcrowded with no place for these people to find shade. They left their trash behind and left just as noisily as they arrived. A sad sight for a beach too small to handle.

Nice calm beach with beautiful water. Sand wasn't as white and soft as other beaches but still nice.

Yes very nice beach and its very quiet, word of recommendation is that when you go to Honeymoon beach check the schedule for how many cruise ships are in as, this beach is on there schedule and you see the extra boats coming in when you are sat there they only stay 90 minutes so its actually rather funny, best thing is what we done go early enjoy the beach when you feel that there's to many people go for a walk and then come back in a hour, we actually stayed it was so nice just to sit read your book and when it go to warm go for a dip on the clear waters. also there our other beaches on Water island, and you do have St Johns as well its more of commute but we also went there to get a feel of the area first time we were in St Thomas we asked the locals where do you go St Johns but you need a good hour to get there, take the safari bus to Red Hook costs $2 per person then you get on the ferry they run every hour costs $10 plus you to get another safari bus to cinnamon beach its a trip but if you are there for a day its well worth it
