Super safe and gives you a true vibe of Puerto Rico. Beaches and streets full of locals. Non touristy good restaurants. Just an awesome and friendly vibe.

The beach is nice clean and well kept. The only thing is the waves are to high and not a good place to play in the water. There was a storm brewing in the ocean and that could be what caused the rough water

We rented an apartment in Ocean Park while on vacation and loved this area. There is a beach, plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We plan on booking the same apartment when we return to San Juan. It was very modern w/ a rooftop balcony and really affordable.

Not the prettiest beach, but still great water and smooth sandConvenient because of its location, minutes from old town, close to restaurants and bars.Check out La B de Burron while you are there.

The beach at Ocean Park is a nice, free walkable stretch of shoreline. Nice tree groupings provide shade. Hotels, Inns and various residentials line the beach. Passing vendors are passive. Didn't see any bathrooms. Water was very cold in January. Was clean & clear but after the 6.5 earthquake, waves rolled full of dark seaweed in large sections. There are no lifeguards. Don't be fooled, use sunscreen. Easy to lay for hours without interruptions. Bring your comforts and leave no trace behind.
