Went for a two hour sunset ride and it was awesome. Rochelle was our guide and she was great, very informative about the town and area as well as the horses. My teenage daughter has never been on a horse and was nervous but Rochelle rode right in front of her and helped her whenever needed. The horses were beautiful and so easy and gentle and looked very well cared for. The parts of the ride on the beach and trails were so fun and beautiful and it was a great way to see some of Rincon that you might not ever see. Highly recommended!

Went on a ride on 2/14/15 at 9am and it was the most amazing experience. The horse is carefully selected based on the rider's experience. My horse was Primrose and I loved her. We rode on the street, on the beach, on back trails and I have never seen Rincon like I did that day. Talk about romantic and the best thing to do on Valentine's Day. The guides were really patient and good. I truly enjoyed every minute of it.

Julie was delightful as a guide. Really professional. Loves and knows her horses and all the people around. The ride was pleasant but the far end was outstanding. Loved the view from the old railroad bed. Would never have seen it without having gone on horseback. Truly rode on the beach and through the sea. Saw lots of surfers. Felt well cared for.

Julie, the owner, really knows her stuff! Upon making a reservation for the amazing two-hour horseback ride and answering some questions about height and riding experience, Julie selects one of her 22 horses to suit the needs of her customers. I have limited riding experience (I had never been on a horse for more than 45 minutes at a time) and am only 4'11" so Julie paired me up with her sweet Primrose (a rescue horse). She was just the right size and temperment for the varied trail ride on the beach, overlooking the beach, along the road, and through the shaded trails. Along with my two step-daughters, we enjoyed the scenery, sights, and comfortable pace with intermittent trots. The Western-style saddles were adjusted for our each of us and we were given general instructions on controlling/steering the horses as well as helpful information relating to each individual horse (Julie knows her horses and their behaviors) to avoid unexpected surprises. I loved the way Primrose, being somewhat "dainty" hated to get her hooves wet! I would recommend this outdoor activity for anyone - any age - Julie is the best!

Julie made sure she matched the rider's experience, size and comfort to the horse perfectly. Some times I worry that trail horses are over worked and not cared for. But, no worries here! These horses are LOVED by the owner. We had a blast and the ride included a family picture taken with our phone by Julie - perfect for the annual card.

Julie was great with our two year old. He had an awesome time, and rode with very little assistance and no fear. Highly recommend!

I had such a great time doing this. The horses were wonderful. I loved my Alberto. The instructor really knows her horses' personality, which makes you feel super comfortable bc she will tell you exactly what to expect from each of them. Once you're on the horse, there's not much else you have to think or worry about. These horses know exactly what to do, what not to do, where to walk and they go at a very steady, comfortable pace. My absolute favorite part is riding by the beach. The photos are great. Will def be going back next time in in PR.

Been on many horse trips on vaca before, this was the best. Nice healthy horses, makes a big difference! Our guide was a nice local woman and was knowledgeable about PR. A must in Rincon! We got lucky in off season on our honeymoon and it was just the two of us with the guide.

we had a wonderful time today. the horses were well behaved, the trail was beautiful and our tour guide obviously loves horses and was the perfect person to show us rincon by horse!

My friend and I decided that we were going to take advantage of a horseback ride while we were visiting Rincon. I would advise anybody that is visiting Rincon to do the same. Words cannot express the wonderful time that we had. Rachelle and Gigi were our tour guides, and they went out of their way to make us all feel comfortable with our hooved escorts. The tenderness and compassion that Rachelle has for the steed was evident in how intimately she knew each one of them, their quirks, personalities, etc. She personified each one perfectly. The pair that my friend and I rode own were dubbed as "Beavis and Butthead" due to the affectionate hijinks they share with each other. Gina was equally as wonderful with how she made sure we were fitted as a perfect match with our horses, taught us to mount an dismount, made sure we were comfortable, and that we knew how to manage the horses. She also saved my hat and sunglasses when a huge gust of wind blew them off of my head. Both ladies could not have been better hosts. The tour was phenomenal. We were led through jungle trails, down beautiful and peaceful tropical lanes, and along some of the most gorgeous and pristine beaches I have ever seen in my life. I was mesmerized throughout the entire tour. The horses were very agreeable, gentle, healthy, and knew exactly what they were supposed to do before being asked. Towards the end, on the way back to the lot where we started, we rode by a yard where a pony no older than a couple of months was grazing. As soon as he saw us, his head popped up, and he began to jump, whinny, and run around the yard in excitement at the sight of his older counterparts trotting by. He wanted so badly to escape his corral and run along with us. It was a perfect ending to a perfect ride. I would advise anybody to take advantage of this tour, and the price is more than reasonable for the wonderful experience, and the expertise of our wonderful tour guides...Rachelle and Gigi. A funny side story. I was so taken in by the whole experience that I forgot to pay them before I left the lot. They were kind and understanding enough to realize that I had a blonde moment. Rachelle went out of her way, drove out to my inn and collected the funds. She literally went the extra mile.
