我们最近去波多黎各(Puerto Rico)时,到库莱布拉岛(Culebra Island)来了个一日游,去了弗拉门戈海滩(Flamenco Beach)。海滩很美丽。软软的细沙,碧蓝的海水。几乎没什么海浪。这里有一些珊瑚,可以带水肺潜水去观赏,不过不要以为这会是一次非常独特的潜水冒险。如果你追求的是这种感觉,那这里不适合你。不过在这处海滨度过一天也会很愉快,可以躺下放松,或者去海里游泳玩耍。我们是周五去的,没有很多人。这里有几个小摊儿,你可以买到吃的,当午餐的话非常美味,不过一定要带着现金。乘坐渡轮去库莱布拉岛非常有趣,幸运的是,我是去看望一位住在波多黎各的朋友,所以她对这些一清二楚。早去一些,这样你可以在海滨享受好几个小时。我们到达后乘坐的上午十点的渡轮,行程大概是45分钟。要留意的是,排队上渡轮之前,你要先去渡轮站点的马路对面买票。你买到票后就可以去渡轮站点排队了。到了库莱布拉岛之后,你需要乘坐班车去弗拉门戈海滩,来回是31元人民币,大概下午四点他们会把你接回来。所以你可以乘坐五点出发的渡轮回到波多黎各。这绝对是非常有趣、非常放松的一天。带上防晒霜!

没有到过这个海滩的库莱布拉之旅是不完整的。这里美的令人震惊。海滩上和温暖的大海里有足够的空间。这里的设施都很好。我和我先生多次租借自行车从镇子里骑车到这个海滩来玩。虽然需要体力,但会使快乐加倍。你也可以搭乘班车过去。

这里有一些卖吃的东西的小屋子,但只有其中一家可以用信用卡,而且这家还没有饮料。还有,不要租吉普车,一点都不值!只是把车开到海滩边就要3美元,当然了,他们会回来接你。海水特别蓝,我非常喜欢。我是跟团去的,一共3天!

这家公司会骗你租吉普车或者其他的交通工具是最棒最经济的出行选择。从渡船码头到海滩乘AC公车来回每人5美元就可以了。这家公司的人会跟你说要十美元,让你无所适从,不对。很多年前我去过这个地方,根本就不划算。如果你租一辆车的话,取车及还车要各花35美元。整个岛上只有两家加油站。五个小时他们收费45美元,这五个小时还要扣除取车,还车的一个多小时的时间。在海滩上的时间只有三个小时。坐公交车的话,不要担心,你可以玩五个小时,而且四个人只要20美元就够了。

Highly recommended and a must see attraction on the island of Culebra. The water was great with no undertow and beautiful white sand.

This beach is a beautiful as it gets but is a very busy beach as far as Puerto Rico goes.If you are in the area it is worth the time time to stop. The snorkeling is very nice at both ends of the beach.

My husband and I were in Puerto Rico Feb. 21-28. I'd done a lot of research beforehand and knew Flamenco Beach was on my To Do list if we could make it work. I was adamant on not taking the ferry and flying. Sure, the ferry is cheaper. But standing in line for tickets, the potential sea sickness, and length of ride sold my case for flying. We flew out of Ceiba (we stayed in the Rio Grande area). It was a quick 15 min flight. Only had to be at the airport 30 min ahead of flight. It was $88 per person round trip. Money well spent, in my opinion. We took the 7:30 flight over there. We were on the beach by 8 am. That's how easy it was. It was nice being on the beach that early. There were not many people at all except people camping or staying close by. It was so peaceful and beautiful. There was probably 20 people at most on the beach when we arrived. As the day wore on, it got busier. But it never felt overcrowded. We went on a Thursday. Maybe other times are busier. We rented an umbrella and 2 chairs for $15. It was worth it to get out of the sun. The water is so crystal clear. It was a highlight of our trip and worth the hype. I dream of going back to Culebra and Flamenco Beach!

My friend and I spent an afternoon here the day after our cruise ended. The trip from San Juan is definitely out of the way, but totally worth it! I got a little sea sick on the boat ride from Fajardo, but the beach more than made up for it. I wish we could've stayed longer! Flamenco is absolutely beautiful. The water is so clear and surrounding area is untouched for the most part. It feels secluded from tourists activities, although there were quite a few people there. Don't let the crowds deter you though, it is a must see!! Can't wait to come back.

Has some algae (seaweed). Sometimes the waves can be rough at certain areas and a couple of timeswe had the stream make it difficult to return easly to shore. The beach should not be develop any further not to become a too developed since that's actually the charm of culebra. Maybe some facilities should be just remodeled or improved, just that. Should not give too much publicity or will be spoiled. Only considerate people (individuals with a nature conservative conciousness or peopke that enjoy it but who cares also. Should be prohibited to unconcious individuals who are selfish and do not care about taking care of protecting nature and environment! God bless Culebra!!
