Located on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, specifically on road 115 in Aguada, there is “El Pico de Piedra”. . This place has adjacent beaches in Rincón and Aguadilla. Although is not the most concurred, it attract visitors with its restaurants and water holds. It sports for humble eat inns to fine restaurants, from familiar to adult oriented inns. No matter the day of the week, people got there. The businesses are open and although the number of customers could not compare to the weekends there’s always public. Weekends are when more people visit the beach, so if you’re planning to visit this place on weekend, I advise you to have patience because of the heavy traffic. Besides giving way to entertain, this is a place where no matter what day or hour, people take time to exercise. However there are always more people exercising during the evening, perhaps because the sun is not to strong and they can see the beautiful sunsets. This beach has facilities for walking, bike riding, beach huts, running water, an emergency room along with restaurants, beach bars and other facilities; it also has ample parking. It’s good for fishing, boating, swimming and paddle boarding. Every day you can see the fishermen pulling out their yolas with the catch of the day, which they sell along the beach. Sightseeing activities might include stroll among the “La Vereda de las Cotorras”. In this place you can enjoy a gorgeous view to the Desecheo Island. The Discovery of Puerto Rico it’s celebrated every year on the 19th of November with a feast at ‘’La Cruz de Colón Square’’. This event attracts people for all over the Island. Several times in the year offshore boating events are held in the beach.
