We hired Sangay for 5 hrs before taking our flight home and this was one of the places we wanted to visit. We took the train but you can do a walking tour. You take a lift down to the entrance, which also has toilets. Iwas very interesting with stops for photos. Not too cold but drips from ceiling as you would expect, nice grounds too.

Visited this as part of the trip called Triple Delight run by Sun Tours. Very well organised and well worth a visit. Upon arrival you go down a cliff side in a lift to the level of the cave entrance. Then you are taken in an electric 'train' through the caves - there is an opportunity to get out at certain points for photographs. Certainly worth a visit.

We took a taxi from our resort to the caves which is cheaper than a bus tour. The resort had booked our time so we did not have to wait once we arrived…The caves are interesting but just so-so. We have seen others which are much more impressive. You can take pictures inside the cave but you need a flash as the lighting is poor…The tour guide was very good; she explained the history of the caves and what you were seeing. You go down into the cave on an electric tram/train. The tour took around 45 minutes. There is a gift shop. This tour was good value for the cost…

The caves are cool but the experience is kinda lame. Basically it's a tourist trap. I felt like the place was run by Disney but cheaper. The grounds are beautiful but they charge $60 BBD per person for a tram tour. They only do walking tours on Saturdays. First you're lead into a one room museum where you're stuck for 20 minutes, then you have to watch a 10 minute movie that covers exactly what you just saw in the museum. Then you get on the tram 4 people per row and the tour lasts 40 minuted. You will get dripped on the whole time. Amazing formations and caverns but I found the tram experience to be distracting. It lurches and is noisy. And as sweet as our guide was she really didn't add anything to what the movie/museum covered. If you've ever seen stalactites and stalagmites you can skip this. I wish I had.

Everything I have seen on line has under sold this. Well worth a visit. Friendly knowledge staff. Modern electric trams. Well thought out and organised tour. A wonderful cave with pristine formations.

I never like attractions that remind me of those oh so boring school field trips. This was an amazing cave that was beautiful and you did learn a lot without being bored. We took the tram ride and actually our driver was more knowledgable and entertaining than the guide. At each stop, his love for the cave and for what he does just shined. He made it fun and we actually learned a lot. Took a ton of photos and will go back again on the next trip to this island.

A fantastic place to go with remarkable sights. Arrived by taxi, watched the informative video and enjoyed the tram ride around these astonishing caves. Excellent information from the guide. All in all excellent value and great memories to take home along with some astonishing pictures.

Loved this cave! We had no idea that Barbados wasn't a volcanic island and was pleasantly surprised that such a wonderful exhibit existed. We didn't book an excursion but went to the taxi stand just outside the cruise terminal to get someone to take us (what an experience). For $80 for two people we got a drive to take us to Harrison's Cave (he waited 2 hrs for us) and then on to Flower Forest (he waited another hour). The cave is very interesting and the tour guide is excellent ($30 per person).....the Flower Forest is nice but it should have had a lot more flowers for the $12.50 entry fee.

I signed up for this tour while on a cruise and I found it to be a great attraction. At times I find that I am claustrophobic, but not at all on this Barbados natural attraction. The cave ceilings are quite high and riding on the tram makes the trip very comfortable. I was surprised as to how warm it was during our tour, I thought it might be cooler passing near streams and waterfalls. Also, water occasionally drips from the cave ceilings but it is not like being out in the rain. Of course, during the trip, the tram stops and you are asked to turn off your electronic or light emitting devices and then all lights are turned off. Total and utter darkness! Then the guide tells you, " Tour's over, find your way back to the entrance". This would be a nice trip for a family, the tram is comfortable and the guide and driver are very helpful and full of information about the different cave formations. The driver pointed out a very unusual feature at the bottom of the cave near a large lake and waterfall. You are going to have to find what that is for yourself by taking the tour.

Guides were great and the tour was unique and interesting. You get very wet and muddy and have a good time. Just the right amount of activity to keep you active but nothing too extreme. Went here with a group of friends while in port and we all had a great time. For the less active you can opt for the tram tour instead.
