A very charming square...feels like Madrid! There are Cuban musicians playing nearby in the street and lost of sights to see nearby.

We did this as part of another tour around Havana, its a very pretty little church made from local coral in a lovely little square, drains to the left of the church can be pretty smelly as theres quite a collection of them so must be a sewar junction. Hemmingways old loval bar is about 50 yards up the street to the left of the church where the Mojito was invented, its small and not the best Mojito in the world but as a tourist you just have to have one, beware of alk the photo opportunity grabbers that pounce on you for a few pesos/cuc

A must at night. Don't go with the tourists and everyone in you pitcher go at night it's so much prettier and a romantic spot. Then walk along the sea wall.

The Roman Catholic church is well established in Cuba. The absolutely beautiful stained glass, ceilings and walls are all adorned with fabulous artifacts.

I am giving this a 4 only because for some reason even armed with a map we could not find this square until we were taken there on an evening walking tour. We walked all around it apparently but just kept missing it. By night the cathedral was closed but all lit up. The square was empty except for some of the poor stray dogs and the customers at the restaurant. It was very pretty at night but I would have loved to see it by day as well. If you have a camera with a high ISO and want to avoid crowds then night time is the time to visit.

Fantastic square full of beautiful buildings. Cathedral amazing. Great for photos of the fantastic architecture. Local Cuban flavour due to women in local costume and they do prey on men to have a photo taken for money.
