Rooi Lamoenchi and Ellen Herrera are a treasure that should not be missed while visiting Bonaire. Ellen is descended from generations of Bonairians and loves her island and plantation. Phone her to set up a guided tour. She has lovingly restored the plantation house and groomed various nature trails through the area. She can explain the plants, animals and their historic relevance to Bonaire. This is a great, opportunity to soak up the quiet beauty of God's nature, history, and charm on a morning or afternoon you aren't diving.

We went for a visit and enjoyed the nature, the views, the quiet shady places, the hiking trails, the history and the wonderful stories of mrs. Ellen! Her personal touch makes the history of this old plantation come alive!

Oude aloë vera plantage die door de huidige eigenaresse, in wiens familie het al decennia lang is, helemaal in oude staat is hersteld. Rondleidingen zijn zeer de moeite, ze vertelt er leuke verhalen bij!
