I have a chance to visit Binh Thuy communal house in early October. Its architecture has many traditional characteristics with carved and engraved wooden boards. The house is located north of the centre of Can Tho, in Binh Thuy District.. Some giant trees in the spacious yard shading the house make it more ancient and peaceful.

The address mentionned in trip advisor is uncorrect. Unfortunately, we could not find the house. We saw some pictures on internet

Cette maison est surtout connue pour les scènes du film "l'Amant" qui y ont été tournées. L'extérieur est très fleuri et photogénique. L'intérieur est celui d'une maison vietnamienne bourgeoise traditionnelle avec ses hôtels des ancêtres. Une dame assez âgée mais fort sympathique en est la gardienne. Le jardin et ses orchidées sont sans intérêt.1/4 d'heure et quelques photos suffisent, une demi-heure si l'on a plus de temps.

visite qui se fait en 10 minutes , pas vraiment d’intérêt ... faire un détour pour la visiter n'a vraiment aucun intérêt ! il a juste une grande pièce à voir ... cette maison a servi de décor au film l'amant.
