一大早醒来，下雨了，洞爷湖显得格外清新，远处的山若隐若现，美丽如画。洗漱完毕，马上拿起相机去拍照了。洞爷湖（Toyako），日本北海道西南部湖泊。20世纪初叶火山爆发频繁，陷没后形成了这座湖泊直径约10公里，近圆形，面积69平方公里，是西湖的十倍！

第二次去Sapporo Kani Honke第二次去Sapporo Kani Honke，由于时间充裕，吃的舒心多了，而且在一楼前台遇到一个中国服务员，会讲中文，真是老乡见老乡，两眼泪汪汪啊，在北海道不会日语，真的不大方便，英语基本不管用。她介绍给我们的火锅，我觉得很好吃，但LG觉得刺身更好吃，各人口味不同。第二次点了：套餐（帝王蟹加松叶蟹的那种）+烤帝王蟹蟹腿。套餐中的火锅，套用句广告词，暖暖的，很贴心。蟹腿也很好吃单点的烤蟹腿套餐中有个味增的蟹黄，绿绿的，味道很特别。最后吃完火锅中的蟹腿，服务生会把米倒入火锅汤中，烧泡饭，我很喜欢！我小时候，我妈妈也会烧菜泡饭，我觉得很好吃。第一次没吃到的炸蟹壳

What a beautiful and scenic location. The lake is surrounded with hotels, onsens and restaurant / cafes. The area is very quiet and peaceful, which is sometimes disturbed by the occasional bus load of tourists. And it's a place to go to relax and take in the sights, and not for shopping.

I was at lake Toya last year summer and stayed at the Daiwa Ryokan Annex. The hotel over look lake Toya or I can say most hotel in Lake Toya would overlook the lake.Lake Toya is a small quite and beautiful town. Although there is nothing much to do, you can take a cruise around the lake in the day. It will stop in the middle of the lake on this small island for you to explore. The moment you step onto this small island you could sense and feel the history and culture on it and the town itself. There are also many wonderful place to eat nearby.This part I must highlight, that during summer every night there will be fire works display on the lake. Your can either catch a ferry to view the beautiful display on the lake or, Buy take out dinner from one of the local restaurant and view the fireworks display while enjoying some local delight in the comfort of your hotel.lastly you can drive up at the end of the town there is a hill in which you can go up, lookout for the signboard that says volcano crater or something. The view on top provide a scenic view of the entire lake Toya and it's town. Definitely will be back again for winter!!! MISS THIs PLACE!!!

So charming. I was attracted by a photo of a lady in an onsen just besides the lake in snowy winter but then I found some reviews about the hotel that it actually serves a number of tour groups and had become noisy and busy, however, the lake itself was terrific. You can also ride a boat to the island with deers. They have fireworks at 20.00 or 21.00 (I'm not sure) everyday during summer. The area we stayed (far from the centre) is very nice for picnic and bar-b-que.

For Toya Lake, you can choose for cruise and sightseeing, it's around 1 hour for cruise. Normally the boat will stop 1 point at the island in the middle of Toya Lake. But if you come to the Winter season like me, it can't go up or see anything. So in my opinion, this program is not interesting in the winter season. It's better to go there in the other season.

It was a quiet, beautiful place. The weather is freezing cold but yet it is relaxing looking at the lake. Didnt take any boat ride but just walk along the pavement as our hotel was less than 5 min walk to the lake.

Lake Toyako has crystal clear water with interesting art sculptors around the lake. It's very calm and peaceful. If you plan on trekking avoid from November to April. Visit supersillytraveller.com for more information
