Upon entering you are given plastic bags to put over your shoes. If your shoe size is larger than size 7, it will take at least 3 bags that don't rip to accomplish this task. This museum was interesting to see the amount of gifts ths politician received. It now makes sense to me why people go into politics. Very interesting place to visit. Lots of cameras, gold, gifts, and landscaped grounds.

I was there yesterday (which was a Sunday). All doors were closed - I just saw a sign that there will be National Gallery opened some time in September...

This museum is effectively a collection of the expensive (and tasteless) gifts given to the president over the years, together with some selective biography of the president and some furnished rooms which I imagine were used before the new palace was built.At one level, it's an ego trip for the president, at another it's making available to the people items which have been given to the country. For reasons I can't understand, we were required to wear plastic overshoes for the visit, though we didn't seem to be standing on anything of great value.It is just across the road from our hotel and it passed a couple of hours on an unseasonably cold and wet morning.

As with all of them, it requires a great deal of ego to establish such a place. It shows all those who have kow-towed to the man over the years: medals presented, letters received, etc. My wife enjoyed it more than I.

As a westerner, it is interesting to through. The Russian/Kazakh viewpoints on history are so different from ours. Rated average because the items in the museum are for/from the President only, they do not represent the people of Kazakhstan. The museum provides a very skewed look at life here.

Конечно же ожидала чего то большего.. Но все понравилось. Приятная атмосфера. Людям интересно узнавать что то новое

Интересное место. Однозначно стоит посетить! В принципе про экспозицию сказали все ниже. Правда, не делайте, как мы - у нас было всего полчаса и все пришлось галопом... Так что вернемся еще, полчаса - это очень, очень мало.

Хороший музей, где выставлены подарки нашему Президенту от всяких делегаций и официальных лиц, а также сохранен его рабочий кабинет!

Интересное место. Здесь представлены различные подарки президенту Назарбаеву. Вход в музей бесплатен, но неудобное расписание, вход сюда разрешен только порядка 4 часов в день, 2 часа до обеда и 2 после.

Музей со своей историей. На первом этаже портрет президента, его автомобили. Там можно фотографировать. Еще 3 этажа - фотосъемка запрещена. Вы увидите личные подарки и награды президенту от других. Есть действующая комната (зал), где проводятся переговоры. Музей красивый. Вход бесплатный.
