Not many attractions to see (and very cheap) but worth walking in the evening as there is a river also. Most crowded in summers but worth visiting in winter too. there is a river cruise there where you can see a little part of Astana.

Recently I took a visiting friend up inside Bayterek to better see the City. The light snow on the ground makes a very different impression than the millions of summer flowers in intricate designs. The walkway (from Khan Shatir to Akorda) was completely taken up and renovated this spring and summer. All new paving stones, fountains, and flora. The view is great. The cost is 500 KZT per person. There is a very small bar and a few tables. But much more important is the model that shows the Park below, the curved stairs up to the very top where the President's handprint is a favored attraction. Many visitors to the Capital city put there hand in the impression and have their photo made. Next to this is a pedestal with greetings of peace by many of the world's religious leaders. The ride up and down the elevator was scenic, but crowded. There seemed to be many Brides in their flowing gowns who wanted photos made from the top. This is always a good start to a visit, a way to orient guests to the layout of the city. There is a small expensive souvenior kiosk near the ticket window. The park expanses around the Tower are pleasant in summer of winter as a place to stroll, and in summer to sit and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Is a lovely place to walk around in the summer, but it's been closed since end April, 2014 for construction of the walkways. They have complete demolition in process. It is most likely not going to open this summer season.

It is a nice place to visit. The place is surrounded with beautiful buildings and several sites to visit all the way from khan Shatyr to President Palance

Everytime I visit Astana, I always enjoy walking along the boulevard regardless the season; Certaimly the best time is during spring or autum; but I'd walked from Khan Shatyr to bayterek during the harsh winter of -36C. great experience.

You enter the park and you just walk into a deserted place. No attractions are open and it looks like it hasn't been touched in months. I would say that you shouldn't go here in October

never been to Paris, but i imagine that this place is similar to famous champ elise of Paris. Calm and relaxing place in new city centre, close to major attractions as well as business and administrative buildings.

This park is a real let-down as it's falling apart. There are difficulties in getting through due to fences and the area (surprisingly) is quite unkempt. Don't bother with it if you have other things to visit
