在这里很容易迷路,有太多好看的和好玩的。我们一家四人,包括11岁和15岁的孩子都愉快地玩了几小时。希特勒的车和柏林墙的残垣是我最喜欢的地方。我很高兴能花时间去参观。

这里真是个让人赞赏的博物馆!我们是和母亲一起来的,她是个二战的老兵,可以免费进来参观(午饭也是免费的)。对于这里的一切她都很感兴趣,对体验很感动。我也觉得很有趣,但同时也很悲痛,十分富有教育意义。一定要来看看。做好至少参观几个小时的准备。

来渥太华(Ottawa)一定要来这里。这里详尽地介绍了从法国殖民时期到近代的军队史。展示了所有资料,以及坦克和其他军用设备以及武器等,特别棒。在这里至少要呆上3个小时或者一天的时间。

去了渥太华之后一定要来此看看。这座博物馆装饰很好,跟我之前看过的博物馆差别很大。需要提醒的是,如果你不喜欢暴力血腥的话(油画或照片),比如说血迹、残肢断臂等,这里可能会让你感到很不舒服。我不建议带小孩子来这里参观。尽管如此,如果你事先对残酷的战争有心理准备的话,这里非常值得一看。

Found it very hard to find my way around while still keeping on the same theme i.e. starting on ww1 then finding I had made a wrong turn and was now in ww2. Although very thought provoking, I found it a bit over-whelming and will have to go back another time to finish the tour.

a really impressive museum that is absolutely worthy of spending there a whole day. It puts things in perspective when you look back and see in the same place all the conflicts that have come before and the ones that still last today... and altough it focuses more on Canadian history, it hits the mark with everyone that goes there, regardless of their country of origin.

We really enjoyed our visit to this museum. A lot of history and moving stories and images of how our soldiers fought to preserve our Freedoms.

A well laid out museum, with great exhibits and very helpful staff. Worth a visit and suitable for all ages.

interesting and very educationalwe did the visit in 3 hours, but we could have stayed longer in order to read everything available, had we not been tired after skating on the canal!

This museum needs to expand and add more about canadian military AFTER the Cold War. Nothing really at all on Afghanistan, Somalia or any recent conflicts. Little interactive exhibits and kids bored because nothing to climb or sit in. As an adult it's interesting but if you want to educate a younger child it has nothing to keep them interested. Take the time to visit the used book store. Interesting books available and great conversation with the volunteer(s) there. And WHY do they sell fake military/air soft gear in the gift shop!?!? It's not a surplus store. I'll wait a few years before giving it a chance again...maybe.
