景点介绍

它最初的显著纪念物大概出现于公元前7世纪，即最早几个伊特鲁里亚国王的统治期间。
随着帝国的繁荣昌盛，所有反映城市的、宗教的以及政治生活的建筑物开始在广场上积聚起来。贵族住宅、商店、神殿和市场互相争夺空间，商人、政治家和皇帝也争先恐后地在这个地区建造比以前更壮观的纪念物。
到了2世纪，建筑的混乱现象沿着自然的轨迹发展，主要是由于所有的空间都被占用了。尽管政治权力中心转向帕拉蒂尼山，商贸中心转向图拉真市场，新的建筑物转向帝国广场，但古罗马广场遗址仍是一个重要的象征焦点。
罗马失陷后，时间为它敲响了丧钟。3世纪时，熊熊的大火摧毁了广场，接踵而来的还有地震和5世纪时野蛮侵略者发起的进攻。中世纪时期，这儿的石块被大量地劫掠去盖教堂和宫殿，在建筑工人石灰窑里，珍贵的大理石化为粉末。最后，广场在肆意的掠夺后逐渐转变成了奶牛牧场，从18世纪末至今才陆陆续续得以较连贯的发掘。

就在斗兽场这边，出来一点不远，很方便一线参观。这里感觉可以看到古罗马的代表性的样子，也能够感受到那种久远地带有一点杀戮的气息。

没有解说真心不知这一群古建筑在讲述一个什么样的故事，但是身在其中，不知为何又总是会想起我们的圆明园……这种大坨大坨的绿松树很多地出现在罗马这个城市，颜色翠绿到给人一种不真实的赶脚~

从斗兽场出来，过条马路就到了。古罗马时期的遗迹，原来的senate所在地，包含在roma pass里。行走在斗兽场和Roman Forum遗迹里，大家都在追忆那曾经繁盛过的帝国与共和国、谈论着元老院时期的民主制度、政权交替的钩心斗角之类

我们在广场对面买的票,当时没想到穿过这个小门之后,就没有声音导游了,也没法回去。所以,基本上这些著名的遗址的深刻意义你就无法了解,白白浪费一张票。看起来倒是非常漂亮,但我们却一无所知,难过死了......

我们在圣格雷戈里奥入口买了联票,最后一个景点在帕拉蒂尼。接着我们从入口来到罗马广场。我打开声音向导听了一会,并和往常一样照了很多相,我在寺庙前停下来,仔细注视着壮观的拱门,接着我沿着圣道走,看到了议事大楼,这些建筑已经有几千年的历史了,真是令人叹为观止啊。最后,我们来到出口,从这可以直接去罗马圆形大剧场。你要穿上运动鞋或是合脚的工作鞋,因为你要在土里走。这里仍有很多东西有待挖掘。

我们是通过真正罗马旅游团订的旅行,幸亏我们这样做了!罗马广场如果没有它背后的历史就什么都不是,而导游能很好的给你讲述历史。任何去广场的游客都会注意到今天的广场已经不是古罗马那个了。去广场旅游需要丰富的想象力,还得竖起耳朵聆听历史,这样你会收获很多。

it be restored great by worker but you still get a good view of it ,but need to be fit as you need to walk to see it

I don't think I can add too much to the other reviews on here apart from it really is a place you have to visit if in Rome. There is so much more to see than we thought. I was thinking we would be done in a hour but we after 3.5 hours barely does it justice! The only thing is plan around decent weather

Always fascinating and atmospheric (if you can ignore the world wide phenomenon of amplified music from South American mime-flautists on the road nearby). I suggest trying the entrance to the Palatine Hill on via di Sam Gregorio if the main entrance at the Colosseum is busy. Make sure that you are in the right queue - there were separate queues for tickets and for security checks. We looked round ourselves rather than be in a tour group - you don't need a tour guide to free your imagination.

A fascinating place with lots of interesting ruins remaining. Great photo opportunities at every turn. Part of the 3 for the price of one ticket 12€ for forum, colosseum & palatine hill - good value. The only problem we had was finding the exit as you can't go down the hill the way you came. Don't follow sign up the hill as you'll be wandering around for hours! The turnstile exit is behind the large building (white I think) in which there are toilets. It's near where you go in. Only problem we found all over Rome was sparse signposting.
