找这个地方是因为我跟朋友都被名字所吸引，又因为我的其他朋友们都很喜欢教堂建筑，就一定要去找到看下，结果走了很久很久，终于找到的时候才知不可以在内部拍照片，只能靠著记忆来记住教堂内的景致。

晚上有不同的灯光照射，照相起来很特别。教堂竖立在五福路旁，没有注意，就会骑过头了。邻近爱河旁，在灯会期间，会有更多观光客到来。
山羊到處玩

本身是天主教徒在周日就要去教堂，刚好朋友也想去观礼，于是就去参加了弥撒。祭台上的布置真是美极了，这次只敢坐在最远的位置，但这样反而能一览无宜。不过，由于这里成了热门观光地点，教友们似乎都对观光客有点感冒。这不是代表他们不友善，只是这是信仰之地，会希望大家以虔敬的心来拜访。先有心理准备明白这里的宗教意义，两边就能和平共处喔！

In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Kaohsiung city is a quiet getaway. This church is gorgeous and unbelievably quiet. Great place!

Besides being a Minor Basilica (1 of the 2 in Formosa), and the oldest catholic church in the island of Taiwan, it is the Kaohsiung Catholic Diocese's cathedral. It is located in Lingya District, very close to the Love (Ai) River and to the Central Park.It was built more than 150 years ago and its stained glass windows are decorated with roses, as a tribute to Our Lady.Masses are daily celebrated in Taiwanese, and in Mandarin and English (on Sundays). And visits are daily allowed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The church was pretty quiet when we visited on a Wednesday afternoon. It's architecture was influenced by the Spanish and it was built during the Qing Dynasty.

１９世紀末に当地に建てられ、１９３０年代に改築されました。　アジアでも３大カソリック建築の教会だそうです。　場所は高雄女子高校の斜め前にあります。愛河ほとりの散策にはお勧めのスポットです。
