This place is not well-known and unlike the gardens and lake will not be packed out. Maybe this museum is not for everyone; it's better if you know something about Buddhism rather than a secular slant on life. The displays are excellent and mostly dual language and I like the focus on how China was a bridge for Buddhism into Japan & Korea. Not strangely, no mention of Tibetan Buddhism and that persona no gratis.I've been twice, the second time I took my Buddhist daughter and she loved it. It rained a bit and it was nice being inside the buildings or on the porches.A pleasant surprise.
