      红海滩是辽宁盘锦很有名的一个奇观,一望无垠的红色浪漫其实也是一种生态污染。红海滩很上镜但是门票很贵,没有什么更多的美景可以挖掘。河蟹是一定要吃的

There are a number of scenic areas in the Liao He delta. Red Beach Tourism Scenic Area is the main tourist attraction with the price and infrastructure to match. But Panjin city has a great network of road bike and trailbike friendly paths through river flats of reeds and villages of rice paddies and tree-lined irrigation canals. Sheep and cows are still being driven out to graze the river flats, and ducks and hens congregate in ponds and yards. In late May and early June, you can watch the farmers planting out the rice shoots, in September, you can watch the corn cobs being harvested and then in October, the rice being cut by hand and stacked in the fields to dry.

Amazing colours! Great Chinese wooden constructions and service that make the experience unforgettable. Apart from the red sea, don't miss the rice fields on the other side of the road, which makes a good match, as one side is red and the other side yellow. In mid September (21) the colours of red were really beautiful. The only objection is the high cost of tickets (85 yuan). I followed a Chinese group (150 yuan/person including tickets) and I was very satisfied as they have stopped in 4 different places in the red sea and the journey from the Panjin lasted from 08.30-15.00. I think there is no easy way to access the red sea from Panjin by public transportation, and the only option is a taxi.

This place is commonly and better known as Red Beach Pier (红海滩). It is an amazing attraction where the seaweed turns red when summer ends (June to September) and the whole beach just like being covered with a piece of huge red carpet. It’s a great thing to see and a memory for a long time. The over 1000m wooden zigzag bridge will allow you to walk onto the sea to the middle of this red beach, a wonderful place to capture some fantastic photos. The Red Beach and the wetland around is an attraction for both tourists and migrating birds. Transportations are easily available from the Panjin or Shenyang.

It is marvelous & gorgeous to go at a right & good timing. Otherwise the results will be very much affected. Approximate time of visit: Mid Sept. to Mid-October.

The beach gets its name from a special type of red seaweed found there that gives the area a deep red colour. Most of the Red Beach is a nature reserve and migrant birds can be found here.We visited in mid October. Unfortunately, the red seaweed has lost its lust and not that red at all. It is a bit orange red. Still a nice way of nature presenting herself. We went to the beach front where the mud bed is, but because it's winter time, most birds have left for the South already. The park closes very promptly at 5 p.m. This makes it very difficult to take sunset pictures. Otherwise, a sun sets against the water front could be very memorable. At one of the kiosks in the touist centres, they sell a kind of food look like pancake with minced meat and juice inside for RMB$8. Do try it. It is very typical Northern Chinese snack.

You can visit the read beach in one day from Shenyang, as I did it. Take the CSR train from Shenyang to Panjin, 1and 1/2 hr ride. Outside the train station, a lot of taxi will offer you to take the taxi. One way cost about PMB 120, Its better to charter the taxi inclusive of return. Otherwise once you reach there, it a long long walk to view the beautiful area. I was there on 20th Sep 13. Beautiful. Request the taxi to bring you around. they should know where is the best part to view it. If you bargain the price too low, the driver will just bring you to a place and telling you this is the best. AS for the boat ride, nothing much, can just skip the hour return trip costing RMB40.Oh yes if you want to travel cheap, take bus 30 from the railway station and inform the driver that you want to go to Red Beach. Fare is RMB 6. The bus will stop you at the main road near Red Beach, there you take a three wheeler scooter to Red Beach, cost RMB20 per person. and you will have a long long walk there. Back to Panjin station, you can have a nice cool drink or meal at JinJiang Inn, just next to the station. Clean coffehouse. Advisable to buy a return train tickets, if you intent to do it in one day,

A nice place to go!!We went to the Red Delta (Red Beach and many other names) in July with some guests. Having heard from others who have been that the delta gets its intense red colour in the autumn we weren't too sure what we would see. Pink? Orange?? But no it was already quite a nice red colour to it. This might be to our advantage as it wasn't so full. We went there (to the huge parking) by car. When entering Panjin there are signs pretty much the whole way to this parking. When you come to a T-junction and have the Red Delta Resort opposite you you have to turn left and then keep on going. There were different types of tickets and we bought to go there with boat and then with a type of long golf cart back. They recommended this type of ticket because of high water levels, but I honestly didn't understand this argument. After all, we could take the land route back... We telephoned with a Chinese friend, and she confirmed this too. Anyway, I think we would have bought this mixture anyway, and will do next time we go. After the boat trip and some golf carting you arrive at the red beach. It is all built in wood which I think gives it a nice touch. However, you can't fail to see the fake turtles etc. The Chinese touch is there. And as we are in China that's just how it should be I suppose. :)
