景点介绍

位于嘉义之南，号称“嘉义的美人乡”实际上属于台南县白河镇，是阿里山斜落嘉南平原的丘陵，高仅数百米，却是台湾著名游览胜地，景点有大仙寺、碧云寺、水火同源、红叶公园、关子岭温泉等。
在关子岭主山枕头山西麓，有一座壮丽巍峨、金碧辉煌的寺庙，这就是台南佛教文化中心之一－－大仙寺。全寺以大雄宝殿为中心，其后有观音殿、三宝殿、地藏宝殿，两侧有安寿堂、延寿堂以及僧舍、客舍等建筑，结构均衡庄重。寺后石椅石桌等错落有致，幽静脱俗，还有清凉洞、望远亭等景。庙中供有日本阿弥陀佛和印度白玉佛，山门外建五彩报恩塔。全寺布局严谨，占地之广，庙宇之伟，不逊于福州鼓山涌泉禅寺，全台亦罕有其匹。
枕头因状若枕头而得名。山上有一巨石，重达数吨，浮嵌在山顶，从山底仰望之，似摇摇欲坠，可数千年来始终迎风昂立，像个巨神守护着枕头山，当地人秒它为灵风动石。
在枕头山东南的山脚下，有一处举世罕见的天然奇景－－水火同源。那是山下岩石丛中涌出一股汩汩流泉，汇成一池清水，池底不断昌出气泡，腾起而燃成烈焰，高达丈余。自从1701年（清康熙四十年）福建高僧参彻和尚发现至今，300多年中，甘泉不断，烈焰不熄。水中腾起的火着物即燃，但无烟无臭。池水滚滚似沸，饮之却清洌甘美。俗语说“水火不相容”，这里是水火同存共生，相容相济，令人叹为观止。

关子岭的温泉不是碳酸泉而是泥浆温泉虽然因为温泉业者愈来愈多造成温泉纯度不若以往不过还是有其特色除了新式的业者之外也有些富有日式气味的老店关子岭除了泡温泉外也有许多不错的景观如红叶公园赏枫也可花点时间在步道走走附近还有东山咖啡白河莲花等景点安排个短期旅游倒真是不错的

After visiting Anping, we visited guanziling to enjoy the mud spring. Somehow transport isn't a big problem as we initially thought though it took around 2 hours to get there from Tainan: train of 27 minutes (tseqiang, may be longer if take other train that stops at more stations); yellow bus took less than 20 minutes to get to baihe interchange and another connecting y12 or y13 bus took another 20 minutes to get to the hill. Don't worry about the extra waiting time as the two yellow buses are scheduled to match with each other. So transportation isn't a problemWent to KGV hot spring, the most popular destination. Entrance fee was 350 during weekdays. Most of the hot springs are covered so no problem even to visit there on a rainy day.The mud spring was not as thick as I wished, which I have already been mentally prepared for. But somehow the presence of some mud in the spring makes it a wonderful experience. Also tried the mud face mask and fish spa... The entire experience was really good so highly recommended for a visit.

From Tainan, we took the train, followed by a bus, and then changed to another bus. Despite the changes, it was an interesting experience. Having been to various hotsprings in the world (e.g., in the dead sea, in japan), I am not sure if Guanziling is unique. However, if you are there, do try the local speciality - some chicken dish.

We stayed in a hotel with mud hot spring bathtub. The mud hot spring is really special and the restaurants in this area are quite exotic as well. Although there's no clubs for night life, a quite walk in hill is perfectly relaxing after a day tour.

If you love hot spring, this is a must have experience! The muddy spring can wash away your tiredness, makes you refreshed either spiritual, emotional, or even make your skin shine and pretty.
